Original Bathroom:
This is a picture of the bathroom before the work began. Existing bathroom features pink glazed ceramic tile for the shower surround, as well as the tub surround. Bathroom floor is 12×12 porcelain tile.
Existing tub is almond color fiber-glass with offset drain. Existing cabinets are oak, that had been painted over with brown paint. Counter tops are laminated with drop-in sinks. Existing bathroom has only one recessed light fixture above the tub. |

DAY 1:
Work area is masked, and protected from construction debris. Glass shower enclosure is removed. Tile shower surround is removed. Partition wall separating shower from the tub is disassembled.
Existing counter tops, sinks, faucets and the cabinets are removed. All water damaged insulation is removed. All surface wood mold is removed, and the shower wall cavities are treated with Concrobium(tm) solution. |

DAY 2:
Existing shower pan is disconnected and removed. Existing bath tub is disconnected and removed. Existing tile flooring is removed throughout the bathroom. Existing tile substrate is removed throughout the bathroom.
Door trim is removed, de-nailed and stored for re-use. All tub surround tile and substrate are removed. Window sill tile is removed. Bath tub water supply lines are disconnected and capped off under the floor. |

DAY 3:
Section of the existing water-damaged sub flooring is removed. Water damaged joists are removed and replaced with the new joists. New sub flooring patch is installed. New dedicated 110V electrical line is installed for the floor heating system.
Both existing exhaust fans are removed and replaced with new 70CFM exhaust fans. Four new additional 5” HALO recessed light fixtures are installed and wired on to the existing light circuit. All removed/damaged drywall is patched up. |

DAY 4:
New drop-in tub enclosure is framed, and wrapped with 1/4” fiber-cement tile backer board. Waste plumbing is re-worked to allow for the new center drain shower pan, and left hand drop in tub installation. Water supply lines are adjusted as needed.
New water supply lines are installed for the bath tub. New 42”x42” WEDI shower pan and curb are installed. New drop-in bath tub is fitted into place. All drywall repairs received second coat of mud. |

DAY 5-6:
New wall insulation is installed behind the shower. New 1/2” WEDI shower panels are installed creating new shower enclosure. New moisture resistant gypsum wall board is installed over the new bath tub enclosure. New WEDI recessed wall niche is installed in the shower wall. New DELTA shower mixer valve is installed in the shower wall.
New SunTouch floor heating system is installed throughout the floor of the bathroom. All drywall repairs have been sanded smooth, textured and primed. New LeveLite floor underlayment is poured encasing floor heating system. New corner shower seat is fabricated and installed. Shower and tub enclosures are water-proofed. |

DAY 7:
All walls and ceiling are primed and painted with two coats of Kelly-Moore paint.
TILE WORK BEGINS. Final tile layout is carefully contemplated and discussed with the client.
Shower pan tile is set the day before to allow installers access into the shower pan. Tub surround, shower curb, most of the accent strip and half of the shower wall tile is set. |

DAY 8:
New Walnut cabinets are delivered and installed. Rest of the tile in the shower is installed. Tile accent row is finished. Tile is installed throughout the floor of the bathroom.
New wall base trim is fabricated out of the floor tile, and installed the same day. Shower wall, shower floor, and bathroom floor tile – porcelain. Accent row and the shower seat – marble. |

DAY 9:
New granite counter top is installed. New under mounted sinks are installed. New faucets are installed. all plumbing trim is completed. New tile counter back splash is installed.
All tile work is carefully cleaned out from left over thinset mortar. All new tile work is grouted and washed. All new ceiling exhaust fans, and new recessed light fixtures receive trim. New task lighting is installed. All door trim is adjusted, re-installed, caulked and painted. |

DAY 10:
Final touches. All tile work is sealed with Enhancer Pro sealer/color enhancer. All paint is touched up. All bathroom accessories are installed.
New STERLING drop in tub is installed. New DELTA shower mixer valve trim is installed. New shower head is installed. New DELTA tub mounted faucet is installed. All plumbing trim is finished. All insulation in the crawl space is re-installed.
NOTE: frameless glass shower enclosure was installed later due to custom manufacturing. |
